Dr. Almahfouz completed his postgraduate training in internal medicine and endocrinology at Harvard-affiliated institutions,
including Joslin Diabetes Center (1987). In 1993, he returned to KFSH&RC where he held positions including Head of Endocrine Section,
Fellowship Program Director, and Chairman of the Saudi Council Scientific Endocrine Committee.
